QM & AI – Are consistent folder structures really that important?

In this age of AI and agents, Open Claw, Claude and the like, it’s fair to ask: do I really still need folder structures? And if so, what on earth for?

This question is easy to answer: Yes.

To improve and stay on top form, on a personal level. That is the essence of any quality management system, although there really are many roads that lead to Rome. Central to this remains the pursuit of stable, recognisable working structures that make project processes simpler, more sustainable and more efficient over the years and across national borders. Repeatability must be just as self-evident as adherence to rules for structure and nomenclature.

It is, to a certain extent, a question of discipline, or of the budget. One can certainly have an agent handle the file storage, which involves ongoing costs. But is it better to follow the suggestions of artificial intelligence, or to develop constants based on one’s own expertise?

For the latter develops within one’s entirely personal work organisation, which must set boundaries and break out of certain frameworks in order to truly flourish. This gives rise to specific structures that are geared towards needs, not generalities. Or they follow the tried-and-tested paths of the masters, who have developed them through many years of meticulous work .

Quality lies in the details. And quality management is not a one-off feat, but a matter of consistency. ProjectFolder makes exactly that possible: tidy filing as a matter of course, traceable processes as standard, with customer- or project-specific customisations as defined. Searching becomes different. Finding becomes second nature.

ProjectFolder is the highly customisable generator for intelligent file structures that are simply used (and shared) as a no-brainer. That is exactly what ProjectFolder is designed for.

I’ve been following this principle for a long time, and it works very well.
That’s how ProjectFolder came about. I wish you every success with it!
